The following video features former CIA counter-terrorism specialist and military intelligence officer, Philip Giraldi, speaking at the National Summit to Reassess the U.S.-Israel ‘Special Relationship’ (NAT Summit). Mr. Giraldi is the Executive Director of the Council for the National Interest.
This experienced former CIA Officer articulates in a brief 10 minute statement just exactly why he concludes, ‘…Israel is NO ally, but also…it is not actually a friend…’
The Council for the National Interest’s Mission Statement reads, in part:
CNI seeks to encourage and promote a U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East that is consistent with American values, protects our national interests, and contributes to a just solution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is CNI’s goal to restore a political environment in America in which voters and their elected officials are free from the undue influence and pressure of foreign countries and their partisans.
The Council for the National Interest Foundation (CNIF) is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides information and analysis on the Middle East, its relationship to the United States, and about policy formation regarding this region. Its primary focus is on Israel-Palestine.
The Council for the National Interest (CNI) is a 501 (c) 4 non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates for Middle East policies that serve the national interest; that represent the highest values of our founders and our citizens; and that work to sustain a nation of honor, decency, security, and prosperity.
The CNI is striking for the number of associated officials who have been involved in either foreign and/or intelligence services – these individuals know of which they speak. A few of these experienced foreign affairs members include; Richard H. Curtiss, former chief inspector of the United States Information Agency, Edward Peck, former Chief of Mission to Iraq deputy director of the White House Task Force on Terrorism in the Reagan Administration, David Newton, a former United States Ambassador to Iraq and Yemen, Ambassador (ret.) Robert V. Keeley, and long-time president Eugene Bird, a retired career foreign service officer.
Of course the CNI, and the upstanding individuals involved with this foundation, are smeared and attacked for their work in the name of true American honor, decency, security, and prosperity, by the zionists and their bedfellows. Still, these smears and attacks become absurd on their face when one considers the people who perpetrate them – one need only compare the integrity of the CNI members to the utter lack of any such thing in their assailants to find this so.
Mr. Giraldi was speaking at the National Press Club, Washington D.C., on March 17, 2014.
