Let’s consider the run-up to the latest US affront to International Law on behalf of an occupational regime:
On 8 August 2017, Fearless Freedom Press posted an entry titled, President Donald Trump Now Faces A Defining Moment For His Presidency. Discussed in that article was the clash occurring between trump’s top aides over the direction of US foreign policy. At the time, ‘conservatives’ led by then trump advisor, Steve Bannon, were leading a charge against national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster. They sought to remove McMaster because, as AP reported, McMaster was ‘insufficiently supportive of Israel and insufficiently tough toward Iran.’ The clash was put into a framework described as one between the ‘Republican foreign policy establishment’ and the ‘firebrands’ of the new ‘alt-right’ and trump’s new MAGA philosophy. The idea was presented that McMaster, representing the ‘establishment’, had become too aggressive in his ideas regarding the conflict in Afghanistan – too ‘interventionist’. This was during the time that a number of terrorist groups were targeted by US forces in that area. Yet at the same time, McMaster, using sound intelligence, was urging forbearance with Iran as all reliable intel suggested that the Iranians were indeed keeping their side of the US/Iran ‘deal’ – with this, Bannon, et al, accused McMaster as not being ‘interventionist’ enough.
Throughout the discussion regarding this ‘clash’ israel and the zionists were constantly presented as being in the forefront of all considerations. AP noted:
The Zionist Organization of America on Monday announced it has undertaken a review of McMaster’s views on Israel.
FPP presented this as a ‘defining moment’ for trump as this was a moment where trump had to chose a side in this clash between ‘advisors’. As it turned out, McMaster survived that round of assault, but has been on the radar ever since.
Fast forward to 22 March 2017.
Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster is replaced as National Security advisor by none other than…John Bolton.
Anyone who took the time to pay attention knows that John Bolton was one of the key figures in the neocon cabal that orchestrated the destruction of Iraq citing as its cause the imminent threat of Saddam Hussien’s ‘weapons of mass destruction’. With straight faces & fake images, representatives of this cabal went before the world and claimed that Hussein was threatening the world with a ‘mushroom cloud’ if it didn’t intervene. After a horrid loss of life and the unleashing of a hellish existence for any survivors, no wmds were ever found. The US brought its brand of ‘freedom’ to Iraq and it became the number one breeding ground for the most vicious terrorist groups in the Middle East.
During the 2005 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, George W. Bush joked about those WMDs – the jew dominated media had a good laugh. During an interview on Democracy Now, paralyzed Iraq War veteran Tomas Young – who had recently announced that he had decided to end his life by discontinuing his medicine and nourishment – gave his reaction to the jokes made by George W. and Laura Bush during that dinner:
Just barely past the two week mark of bolton’s appointment as national security advisor, on Saturday, 7 April 2017, word was coming out of Douma, the largest city in Syria’s Eastern Ghouta, that there had been a chemical attack that killed a number of civilians. The number has changed according to sources from anywhere between fourty and eighty-five – the earliest number reported by the always suspicious Syria Civil Defence (White Hats) of more than 150 was already considered extreme and removed from reference. Immediately the media and the US government put the blame of this attack upon President Assad’s Syrian Army or Air Force, that again depending on the source.
The Syrian government quickly denied these accusations. The Russian government also made statements questioning the veracity of these claims, some outright denying Syrian government involvement altogether. One Russian official stated that the Syrian/Russian troops were very near to taking Ghouta and once within the city the truth of the claims could be established. On 10 April two teams of investigators from the global watchdog group, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), were dispatched to Syria and set 14 April as the start date for their mission.
As early as 9 April, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, told the Security Council that Russian military specialists had visited Douma and taken soil samples that showed no presence of nerve agents or substances containing chlorine.
On Sunday afternoon, 8 April, according to new agreements, the evacuation of Jaysh Al-Islam combatants was resumed. Following Douma’s liberation from militants, Russian radiological, chemical and biological protection specialists were sent there to collect evidence. They took soil samples that showed no presence of nerve agents or substances containing chlorine. Local residents and combatants who were no longer fighting were interviewed. Not one local confirmed the chemical attack. At the local hospital, no one with symptoms of sarin or chlorine poisoning had been admitted. There are no other active medical facilities in Douma. No bodies of people who had died from being poisoned were found, and the medical staff and residents had no information about where they might have been buried. Any use of sarin or chlorine in Douma is therefore unconfirmed. By the way, representatives of the Syrian Red Crescent refuted statements allegedly made on their behalf about providing assistance to victims of toxic gases.
On Thursday, 12 April, after all militants had been evacuated from Douma, the Washington Post reported, ‘Russian state television broadcast footage of the Syrian national flag being raised in the streets of the shattered city, marking a milestone in the Syrian government’s path to victory.’ (emphasis FFP)
Early on 13 April the BBC reported:
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said a reported chemical attack in Syria was staged by foreign agents.
During a press briefing on Friday, Mr Lavrov said he had “irrefutable evidence” that the attack was staged as part of a “Russophobic campaign” led by one country, which he did not name.
General Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for Russia’s defence ministry, said: “We have… evidence that proves Britain was directly involved in organising this provocation.”
The BBC also noted in the same report:
The US and France say they have proof it took place and, alongside the UK, are considering military retaliation.
A delegation from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will arrive in Syria’s Eastern Ghouta region on Saturday. Few details are expected to be released about the movements of the chemical weapons inspectors, for safety reasons.
Later in the day, Al Jazeera reported:
The UN Security Council has held an emergency meeting called by Russia to discuss what it describes as a threat to international peace from potential US military action in Syria.
Russia’s ambassador to the UN said during Friday’s session that its specialists found no traces of “toxic substance use” in Douma, the largest town in the Eastern Ghouta region near Syria’s capital Damascus, after a suspected chemical attack hit the area.
Vassily Nebenzia said Russia had “clear evidence” that the incident was staged, referring to the suspected chemical attack that killed at least 85 people in Douma on April 7.
The comments came as Igor Konashenkov, Russia’s defence ministry spokesman, said in a televised appearance that his country had “evidence” the UK was involved in organising the chemical attack in Douma.
“We have evidence that proves Britain was directly involved in organising this provocation,” he said.
This report quoted Nebenzia as saying:
“The sole thing they [the US, France and the United Kingdom] have an interest in is to oust the Syrian government … and contain the Russian Federation.”
At approximately 8:11 pm, US standard time, reports began to emerge regarding a joint US/UK/France coordinated attack of missile strikes on various areas of Syria. As these assaults were underway, trump went on US television to announce them and the reasons for doing so. This time there was no evidence of WMDs presented to the American people or the world. The OPCW wasn’t given a chance to investigate or provide any of its findings as their work was to begin on Saturday. Trump simply stood before the cameras making assertions as though they were absolutes.
The narrative right now, according to the zionist controlled regime in Washington, is that the Syrian government did not heed the warning from last year’s US assault on the sovereign state’s air base that warned Assad to discontinue the use of chemical weapons. Because of last Saturday’s chemical attacks this Friday night missile attack is a bigger message to the Syrian government that the US means business.
As early as 2 February 2018, Defense Secretary, Jim Mattis related that the US had no evidence that Assad had used chemical weapons. From AP:
The U.S. has no evidence to confirm reports from aid groups and others that the Syrian government has used the deadly chemical sarin on its citizens, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Friday.
“We have other reports from the battlefield from people who claim it’s been used,” Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon. “We do not have evidence of it.”
He said he was not rebutting the reports.
“We’re looking for evidence of it…”
Yet, from the same presser AP also reported:
Mattis says it is clear that Assad’s government has weaponized and used chlorine gas in the Syrian civil war.
It should be noted that nothing was presented which made it ‘clear’ regarding the weaponization and use of chlorine gas.
What we are seeing in this is that there was no evidence of the use of chemical weapons used as the pretext for the April 2017 airfield assaults. And there is no evidence regarding the chlorine gas attack which is being used as the pretext for the new assaults against Syria. There are only reports from interested parties within Gouda who made every accusation which was broadcast to the world.
Gouda was about to be liberated. There was no reason for Assad or the Syrian forces to resort to the use of any kind of chemical attack upon their own people. What WAS a good reason to create this crisis is that Syria was well on its way to victory over the criminal forces which sustained the internal conflict within that State – the forces which instigated Syria’s ‘civil war’ were running out of options.
Ron Paul articulated this idea well on RT – although he mentioned everyone and everything as the ulterior motive except the elephant-in-the-room, israel:
The ignoble way that this assault upon Syria has been conducted should be raising flags for anyone to see. Russia had just announced that it had ‘irrefutable evidence’ that the chlorine attack was staged. OPCW hadn’t even begun their investigations. Targets were hit where no proofs of their activities have been presented. The world is just expected to take trump at his word.
Trump called Bashar Hafez al-Assad a ‘dictator’ – Assad is the elected President of secular Syria and his people love him. The people who don’t are the same people who support non-secular islamic extremist governments everywhere. And it should be noted that the terrorist organization, IS, has been pegged by a number of researchers as a US/isreal supported and funded group.
There was a reason trump gave bolton that spot as ‘national security advisor’ and ousted the honorable, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster. McMaster would never have participated in this ignoble farce. Only a zionist neocon like bolton would participate in this new con.
The Guardian noted that UK Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn, had ‘urged PM Theresa May to remember the lessons of intelligence failures in the build-up to the Iraq war’ and quoted hm as saying, ‘There has to be a proper process of consultation. Cabinet on its own should not be making this decision.’ Apparently trump didn’t consult Congress either – though it probably would have made no difference. ‘Democracy’ is only put into play when it’s useful to legitimize the very corrupt institutions that manipulate it as their tool of choice.
In the days ahead the world will witness the response to this latest affront to International Law. The arguments will be made by the ‘leaders’ from the US/UK/France as to why this action is ‘legal’ – but anyone who knows anything about International Law will be hard pressed to substantiate such claims. What can be rather certain, is that nothing in terms of ‘peace’ will come into play – only an escalation of conflict…and this time it involves players like Russia.
While President Assad provably demonstrated to the international community that all chemical weapons have been removed from Syria two years ago, the US and israel have been developing and building large caches of chemical weapons completely removed from any international monitoring or regulation. They have the means and the motive – and they are criminal.
What a nasty thought it is that a new world conflagration threatens the people based, once again, on the incitements of the zionist stooge governments of the US and Great Britain.
