The recent events involving tanker attacks in the Gulf of Oman – and the knee-jerk accusations of guilt aimed at Iran by the u.s. – should be seen by any thinking person as yet another case of ‘here we go again’, déjà vu.

It’s no mystery that the terrorist duo u.s/israel have been pushing for the destruction of Iran since the neo-con Project of the New American Century’s manifesto, Rebuilding America’s Defenses, articulated the scheme in 2000. (Actually this goes back to the Iranian Revolution of 1979, when Iran reclaimed its independence from the u.s./israel installed Shah regime – a regime that was instituted following the CIA/MOSSAD led overthrow of the democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, in 1953.) Iraq, Syria, and Iran were named as states of particular concern for the ‘neo-con‘ would-be rulers of the Middle East.

The lies and deceptions – propagated through the american ‘executive’ branch, promoted by a complicit ‘media’, and embraced by congress – that led to the disastrous destruction of Iraq are now known to all thinking people. The U.S. Institute of Peace describes the current situation in Iraq:

Iraq has been ravaged in recent years by cycles of warfare, an internally displaced persons (IDPs) crisis, crippling sectarianism and, most destructively, a three-year campaign to drive ISIS from the third of the country it controlled. Even after the military defeat of ISIS, Iraq continues to face severe challenges including resolving the political, sectarian, and tribal conflicts that fueled the spread of extremism and its entanglement in regional rivalries.

Note the presence of ISIS as a key factor of disruption in the struggle for a return to some sort of normalcy, in the little that remains of that tragically beleaguered State.

From the start of the Syrian struggle in 2011, president Bashar al-Assad went before the world media and made constant attempts at describing the true nature of the conflict. Assad repeatedly stressed that the core of this conflict was not coming from citizen ‘freedom fighters’ but rather from external terrorists. The narrative is now known – the u.s. ‘government’ flooded Syrian ‘opposition’ with not only CIA sponsored training and support, but also high-powered weapons and other materials for destruction. The terrorist organization, ‘ISIL’, finally came forward in full face – most of the world came to know this gang of murderers as ‘ISIS’.

But Syria did not fall as easily as Iraq. The Syrian forces courageously fought for their homeland and, with the assistance of Russian support, all but destroyed the terrorist instigators of violence. Syria is not free from the u.s./israel attacks against that independent sovereign State – and perhaps never will be. But there is movement towards a rebuilding and a call for the return of the citizens who were compelled to leave the country due to the horrors of the conflict.

In recent years the u.s./israel goons have attempted every scheme to disrupt and destroy another independent sovereign State on the neo-con hit-list: Iran. Manufactured internal ‘revolt’ – under the guise of ‘popular movements’, intended crippling ‘sanctions’ based upon insinuations of a ‘nuclear threat’…the list could go on. When Iran demonstrated that the State had been fully compliant with the terms of the 2015 deal with the major superpowers involving the nuclear program – a deal which lifted the crippling sanctions – u.s ‘president’ donald trump unilaterally withdrew from the agreement – the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – in 2018. Since then, the trump ‘administration’ – led by neo-con john bolton – has been relentless in its push to war with Iran.

In recent months the u.s. has dispatched an incredibly provocative military force into the Gulf region. This includes a patriot missile ‘defense’ battery, an air force bomber ‘task force’, and an aircraft carrier strike group.  This deployment began in April of this year.

Is it a coincidence that we now see the development of this highly suspicious attack on tankers in the Gulf Of Oman…? What does Iran have to gain by such ridiculously provocative actions…? NOTHING. Who has everything to gain according to their agenda…? The answer should be clear.

On 13 June, Reuters reported:

The United States, which has accused Iran or its proxies of carrying out a May 12 attack on four tankers off the United Arab Emirates’ coast as well as May 14 drone strikes on two Saudi oil-pumping stations, squarely blamed Iran for Thursday’s attacks.

“It is the assessment of the United States government that the Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible for the attacks that occurred in the Gulf of Oman today,” U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo here told reporters.

Pompeo did not provide explicit evidence to back up the U.S. assertion.

“This assessment is based on intelligence, the weapons used, the level of expertise needed to execute the operation, recent similar Iranian attacks on shipping, and the fact that no proxy group operating in the area has the resources and proficiency to act with such a high degree of sophistication,” Pompeo said.

The emphasis is added.

Ask yourself: who really does have the resources and proficiency to act with such a high degree of sophistication?

The same article from Reuters noted this point:

The firm that chartered the Kokuka Courageous tanker said it was hit by a suspected torpedo, but a person with knowledge of the matter said torpedoes were not used.

This ‘person with knowledge of the matter’ is not identified. The spin is being spun.

NBC News reported: Kokuka Courageous operator doubts mine responsible for Gulf of Oman explosion.

Yutaka Katada told reporters that the crew of the Kokuka Courageous saw a ‘flying object’ before the attack on the tanker.

Recall the highly sophisticated u.s. ‘strike force’ presence described above.

The larger question is: Will the people of the u.s. accept yet another phony ‘war’ based upon ‘government’ provocation, instigation, and false pretenses – like the majority did with the unprovoked assault upon Iraq, and the subversive instigation of conflict in Syria?

In case readers doubt the u.s. involvement with ISIL/ISIS in Syria, as well as Iraq, this entry includes a post from Washington’s Blog dated, 23 May 2015. As Global Research describes it,

…this article reveals not only that the ISIS is a creation of US intelligence, it also confirms that the Caliphate Project was designed in Washington.

Also, lest the reader not be aware of the role of the u.s. partners in crime, israel, this link presents a composite picture.

‘ISIS’ can’t be relied upon in the destruction of Iran – the u.s. government is now back to the old game of ‘war by deception’.

The thing is…this time, it should be patently obvious to most thinking people.

DIA Docs: West Wants a “Salafist Principality in Eastern Syria”?

May 23, 2015 by Robert Barsocchini

Judicial Watch has – for many years – obtained sensitive U.S. government documents through freedom of information requests and lawsuits.

The government just produced documents to Judicial Watch in response to a freedom of information suit which show that the West has long supported ISIS.   The documents were written by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency on August 12, 2012 … years before ISIS burst onto the world stage.

Here are screenshots from the documents. We have highlighted the relevant parts in yellow:

ISIS-US Support

Why is this important? It shows that extreme Muslim terrorists – salafists, Muslims Brotherhood, and AQI (i.e. Al Qaeda in Iraq) – have always been the “major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.”

This verifies what the alternative media has been saying for years: there aren’t any moderate rebels in Syria (and see this, this and this).

The newly-declassified document continues:

ISIS-US-Support - 02

Yes, you read that correctly:

there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime ….

In other words, the powers supporting the Syrian opposition – the West, our Gulf allies, and Turkey wanted an Islamic caliphate in order to challenge Syrian president Assad.

Sure, top U.S. generals – and… Vice President Joe Biden – have said that America’s closest allies support ISIS.  And mainstream American media have called for direct support of ISIS.

But the declassified DIA documents show that the U.S. and the West supported ISIS at its inception … as a way to isolate the Syrian government.  And see this.

This is a big deal.  A former British Army and Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism intelligence officer and a former MI5 officer confirm that the newly-released documents are a smoking gun.

This is a train wreck long in the making.
